Indexes
The various editions of the repertories have grown substantially since their beginnings. A lot of work has gone into standardising remedy terminology and abbreviations, and sourcing and attributing the various originators of symptom additions and confirmations. Details and examples of this are contained in the Repertory Guide. This work is ongoing, since there is a wealth of clinical confirmations in cases published in homeopathic journals over the years which has yet to be included in any repertory.
The latest 2008 editions of the repertories contain over 1.7 million remedy additions in more than 167,000 rubrics containing remedies (the total number of rubrics is nearly 180,000). More than 28% of these remedy additions are now clinically verified. See Repertory Statistics for a comparison with previous editions of the repertories and with Synthesis. These indexes are in the process of being updated to include the latest edition of the repertory. For the moment, some still refer to the Complete Repertory 2005.

Authors
Identification numbers for authors were changed in version 4.5 of the Complete Repertory to a system based on the chronological order in which the authors started writing on homeopathic subjects. This differs from the way ID numbers are used in the Synthetic Repertory and Repertorium Generale (and in previous versions of the Complete Repertory). These indexes list the changes, and provide keys to the ID numbers used in all editions of Roger van Zandvoort’s repertories subsequent to the Complete Repertory ver 4.5.
